Position Description
UK Operations Manager
Location: Wokingham, UK
Reports to: General Manager
OVERVIEW OF GROUP
POSITION OBJECTIVE
• To be responsible for and manage the UK operations to achieve good Service Delivery according or above customer expectations included in local or world wide agreements
• People responsibility about 40 employees
• To manage and improve operational procedures and service delivery to customers in the U.K. and Ireland.
• To manage the implementation of KPI’s and make sure it is understood and operational success is measured against it.
• Ensure all regulatory and employment requirements are completed with the requirements. E.g. yearly performance reviews
• To provide leadership in the areas of:
o Operations management
o Commercial areas of the business
o Assist General Manager for improving business and reaching objectives
• Hire and develop people for mutual benefit by coaching, training etc.
• Ensure correct servicing within the set time windows according contract
• Liaise with the customers, purchasing and partners to improve the service

Person Specification
Experience
• Minimum 4 years experience in Operations Management
• European experience
• Experience in an industrial service environment
• Experience with management of change processes
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications
• Strong people skills, motivator
• Hands on mentality
• Structural working methods, excellent planning, organisational and project management skills. Focus on priorities.
• Strong information and computer skills
• Knowledge of KPI set up and management
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Fluent in English. Other languages would be an advantage.
• Experience with ISO would be an advantage
