We are looking for a senior account executive with a successful sales track record and a minimum 3+ years experience in selling enterprise software into the Finance sector in the DACH region. This role will report directly to the Regional VP of North Region, Europe, Middle East & Africa.

Position Description

The Account Executive will be responsible for selling our clients products and services to new and existing customers. Account Executives will be required to develop account plans, prospect, deliver high quality customer presentations, and negotiate and close enterprise software deals. Must be able to communicate the value proposition and deliver Return on Investment (ROI) analysis. Will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Introduction
This position is responsible for new business development sales for our Client’s products and services both via channels and directly in the defined remote territory. The successful candidate will be responsible to identify and contact channels to sell software products, applications and services in the defined territory. The successful candidate will maximize revenue potential in the market, through a professional and ethical business approach endorsing the our Client’s Values.


Principal Accountabilities
• Develop our Client’s market presence by building a successful channel strategy in the defined territory in a creative and entrepreneurial style.
• Identify and contract new routes to market to support our Client’s growth ambition. A territory channel plan will detail target channels
• Present our Client’s vision, create and develop advocacy within channel organizations, and build and develop relationships at all levels.
• Close deals with and via channel partners. Mentor and assist channel in sales process.
• Work closely with the marketing department to support the channel in their demand generation. Support the channel in execution of events in the territory. Follow up all relevant channel oriented sales leads.
• Maintain outstanding communication with both management and peers and work efficiently and compliantly with the legal departments during the negotiation of sales contracts.
• To build a pipeline of new, incremental business in the defined territory via channel partners
• To put in place the necessary infrastructure within the Partner/channel organization to make them as autonomous and self sufficient as possible in selling and implementing our Client’s products

Dimensions
Measured and remunerated on closed new business sales revenue, requiring the jobholder to sustain 100% achievement of quota each fiscal year.

Person Specification

Technical & Functional competencies:
• College degree at B.A. or B.S. or comparable
• Minimum of 5 years of new business sales experience within enterprise software sales.
• Displays knowledge and experience of conceptual solutions selling.
• Demonstrate meeting consistent sales targets of £1m+ from complex sales cycles.
• An understanding of the business benefits.
• Good knowledge, ideally with contacts within, following channel categories:
. Platform vendors: Sun, Oracle, Microsoft, IBM, HP etc.
. Big 5/SIs: Accenture, CG, AtosOrigin, Deloitte etc.

The Candidate

* Must understand and evidence the application of ROI/cost justification to underpin sales

* Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications and CRM
